The Siskin is a resident 12cm long. Diet is mainly Seeds of wild plants and trees and insects. The hen lays 4 or 5 blueish spotted with brown and lilac eggs in April - June. The nest is of twigs, hair, grass, moss feathers and wool, usually on the branch of a Fir-tree
