Robin
(Erithacus rubecula melophilus)
The Robin is a resident 14cm long. Diet is mainly all kinds of insects and worms, sometimes fruits and berries, scraps and crumbs. The hen lays 5 or 6 white eggs, speckled with light red between February - July. The nest is of wool, moss, hair and grass in a flowerpot, old kettle, even indoors on shelves.
