Group Activities

Objectives

Working to the Management Plan, we will:

Control the brambles and scrub;
Keep the footpath clear throughout the year;
Restore the riverside meadows;
Open up the ponds;
Manage the wet woodlands;
Create protected areas to provide habitat for water voles and otters;
Survey and monitor flora and fauna;
Arrange fund raising activities and apply for grants to cover the cost of specialised work.

The restoration of a pond on the Rotherlands site is our biggest project so far.
